Library card – When do I need one?

You need a library card in order to borrow, renew and reserve items, external users for the use of electronic resources in the reading room.

Location – Where can I find the library?

Access to the university library via the main entrance (AKH internal access 5E) is now possible again for ALL library users.

Using the library by members and students of MedUni Vienna

For members and students of the Medical University of Vienna, all licensed electronic resources are accessible at all times both within the MedUni campus and outside the campus via remote access

Using the library by external users (doctors, students, etc.)

General users can borrow items with their library card and access licensed electronic resources via the WLAN (MUW Library) in the reading room of the university library.
