Die Medizinische Universität Wien hat im Rahmen der „Kooperation E-Medien Österreich“ (KEMÖ) mit dem Springer-Verlag ein neues Lizenzmodell „Springer Compact“ für die Jahre 2016-2018 vereinbart.

Springer Compact verbindet die Nutzung von Inhalten auf „Springer Link“ mit der Möglichkeit, Open Access zu publizieren („Read & Publish“).

WissenschafterInnen erhalten so Zugriff auf über 2.000 Springer-Zeitschriften und können in über 1.600 Subskriptionszeitschriften des Verlags ohne Zusatzkosten Open Access publizieren.

Was sind die Vorteile für Autoren und Autorinnen?

  • hohe Sichtbarkeit der Arbeit, da alle Artikel unmittelbar nach Publikation online frei verfügbar sind
