Vor 225 Jahren, am 7. November 1785, wurde die \u201emedizinisch \u2013 chirurgische Akademie\u201c feierlich er\u00f6ffnet. Heute ist das Josephinum mit seinen Sammlungen und dem \u201eMuseum im Josephinum\u201c Kernst\u00fcck des kulturellen Erbes der Medizinischen Universit\u00e4t Wien. Aus Anlass dieses Jubil\u00e4ums veranstaltet die Organisationseinheit \u201eDepartment und Sammlungen f\u00fcr Geschichte der Medizin\u201c der Medizinischen Universit\u00e4t Wien am 4. und 5. November 2010 (jeweils 10.00 \u2013 18.00) den<\/p>\n

Josephinum Workshop
\n\u201eVisions for the Future\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thema dieses Josephinum Workshops ist nicht die wechselvolle Geschichte dieser Institution, sondern vielmehr die gemeinsame Zukunft von Institutionen, die sich der Thematik \u201eHistory and Philosophy of Medicine\u201c widmen und\/ oder mit dem kulturellen Erbe der Medizin arbeiten. Im ersten Teil der Tagung informieren Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der MedUni Wien, der \u00d6sterreichischen Forschungsgesellschaft (FFG) und des Cultural Contact Point Austria (Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Unterricht Kunst und Kultur) \u00fcber die verschiedenen M\u00f6glichkeiten europaweiter Kooperationen. Im Anschluss daran werden Repr\u00e4sentantinnen und Repr\u00e4sentanten von medizin- und wissenschaftshistorischen Institutionen aus den Italien, Niederlanden, Slowenien, Tschechien und Ungarn ihre Institutionen vorstellen und \u00fcber Wege der Zusammenarbeit in den Bereichen Lehre, Forschung, Museologie und \u00fcber den Umgang mit kulturellem Erbe diskutieren<\/p>\n

Am 4. November findet um 19.00 der Empfang \u201e 225 Jahre Josephinum\u201c mit Vizerektor Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rudolf Mallinger statt. Wir w\u00fcrden uns freuen, Sie auch bei dieser besonderen Geburtstagfeier unseres Hauses begr\u00fc\u00dfen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n
