Hierzu hat die MedUni Wien einen Vertrag mit der Firma <strong>ENAGO<\/strong> abgeschlossen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/univ\/med-uni-wien\/\"><strong>&gt;&gt; Link zur Einreichung des Manuskripts<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hinweis:\u00a0<\/strong>Nach erfolgreicher Einreichung sendet die Firma ENAGO eine Kostensch\u00e4tzung (\u201eQuotation\u201c) zu. Sofern diese bei bis zu 500 US-Dollar liegt, darf der:die Autor:in diese einfach best\u00e4tigen. Die Rechnung wir dann an die MedUni Wien geschickt. Sollte die Kostensch\u00e4tzung \u00fcber 500 US-Dollar liegen, bitte um R\u00fccksprache. Es handelt sich dabei NICHT um eine Rechnung, die vom Autor bzw. der Autorin zu zahlen ist.<\/p>\n<p>Das Rektorat der Medizinischen Universit\u00e4t Wien \u00fcbernimmt in einer Pilotphase <strong>einmalig<\/strong> pro <strong>Erstautor:in<\/strong> mit Affiliation &#8222;<strong>Medical University of Vienna<\/strong>&#8220; f\u00fcr die ersten 150 Publikationen die Kosten f\u00fcr das Korrekturlesen und Editieren Ihres <strong>englischsprachigen<\/strong> Manuskripts. Eine Fortf\u00fchrung des Services ist bei guter Akzeptanz geplant. Es wird an alle Einreichenden auch Feedback-Anfragen geben, um den Service evaluieren zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"DE-AT\"><strong>Zur Auswahl stehen zwei Varianten:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"DE-AT\"><strong>A.<\/strong> Korrekturlesen durch zwei Redakteur:innen (1x Fachexpert:in, 1x Sprachexpert:in), Formatierung f\u00fcr ein angegebenes Journal, Anpassung der Manuskriptl\u00e4nge auf die angegebene Wortzahl, 120 Tage Nacheditieren (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/copy-editing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span lang=\"DE-AT\">https:\/\/www.enago.com\/copy-editing<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"DE-AT\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"DE-AT\"><strong>B. <\/strong>Leistungen aus A + Cover letter + 365 Tage Nacheditieren (Revisionen inkl. Verfassung eines Rebuttal Letters, Neueinreichung inkl. Anpassen der Formatierung an die neuen Anforderungen) (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/substantive-editing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span lang=\"DE-AT\">https:\/\/www.enago.com\/substantive-editing<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"DE-AT\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"DE-AT\">Anspruchsberechtigt sind nur <strong>Originalarbeiten<\/strong>, die, zumindest bei der Ersteinreichung, bei einem <strong>Top-Journal<\/strong> der jeweiligen Fachrichtung eingereicht werden. Reviews, Case Reports, Commentaries, Editorials oder auch Diplom- oder Doktoratsarbeiten sind nicht anspruchsberechtigt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"DE-AT\">Sollten Sie den Anspruchskriterien nicht entsprechen, ist trotzdem eine Bearbeitung \u00fcber ENAGO mit einer <strong>30%tigen Reduktion der Bearbeitungskosten<\/strong> bei Angabe einer meduniwien.ac.at E-Mailadresse gegen\u00fcber dem Normalpreis mittels Kreditkarte m\u00f6glich.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"DE-AT\">Dieses Projekt ist in enger Zusammenarbeit des Rektorates, der Universit\u00e4tsbibliothek, des Betriebsrates und der KA-AZG Vertreter:innen entstanden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich gerne an <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.meduniwien.ac.at\/forschung\/dokumentation-dissemination-pr\/publikationen-und-patentierung\/#\" rel=\"noopener\" data-mailto-token=\"thpsav1iphujh5nlylukhzGtlkbupdplu5hj5ha\" data-mailto-vector=\"7\">bianca.gerendas(at)meduniwien.ac.at<\/a> oder <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.meduniwien.ac.at\/forschung\/dokumentation-dissemination-pr\/publikationen-und-patentierung\/#\" rel=\"noopener\" data-mailto-token=\"thpsav1zvwopl5wpszGtlkbupdplu5hj5ha\" data-mailto-vector=\"7\">sophie.pils(at)meduniwien.ac.at<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Starting immediately (September 2025), it is possible to have scientific publications professionally edited before submission. To this end, MedUni Vienna has signed a contract with the company <b>ENAGO<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/univ\/med-uni-wien\/\"><strong>&gt;&gt; Link to manuscript submission<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> After successful submission, ENAGO will send a cost estimate (\u201cquotation\u201d). If this is up to $500, the author can simply confirm it. The invoice will then be sent to MedUni Vienna. If the cost estimate exceeds $500, please consult with us. This is NOT an invoice that the author is required to pay.<\/p>\n<p>The Rectorate of the Medical University of Vienna will cover the costs of proofreading and editing your <strong>English-language<\/strong> manuscript for the first 150 publications in a pilot phase, on a <strong>one-time basis<\/strong> per <strong>first author<\/strong> affiliated with the &#8222;<strong>Medical University of Vienna<\/strong>&#8222;. The service is planned to continue if it is well received. All submitters will also be asked to provide feedback so that the service can be evaluated.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"DE-AT\"><strong>There are two versions to choose from:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"DE-AT\"><strong>A.<\/strong> Proofreading by two editors (1 subject matter expert, 1 language expert), formatting for a specified journal, adjustment of manuscript length to the specified word count, 120 days of post-editing (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/copy-editing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span lang=\"DE-AT\">https:\/\/www.enago.com\/copy-editing<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"DE-AT\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"DE-AT\"><strong>B.\u00a0<\/strong>Services from A + Cover letter + 365 days of post-editing (revisions including drafting a rebuttal letter, resubmission including adapting the formatting to the new requirements) (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/substantive-editing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span lang=\"DE-AT\">https:\/\/www.enago.com\/substantive-editing<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"DE-AT\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only <b>original works<\/b> that are submitted, at least initially, to a <b>top journal<\/b> in the respective field are eligible.
